2nd Summit on New Media Art Archiving
From 10 to 16 June 2022, the UOC presents ISEA2022 Barcelona, the 27th edition of the International Symposium on Electronic Arts, to be held in Barcelona under the slogan “Possibles”, in collaboration with CCCB, Arts Santa Mònica, NewArtFoundation, the recently inaugurated Hac Te (Art, Science and Technology Hub), MACBA, Barcelona City Council – via Science and Universities and the Institute of Culture – and the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia. It represents one of the most important annual events of its kind on an international scale, dedicated to the coming together of art, design, science, technology and society.
On 10 and 11 June, within the framework of its Possible Archives project, MACBA will become the venue for a leading international summit on archiving: the 2nd Summit on New Media Art Archiving.

The Possible Archives project is designed as a framework for activating various proposals, with the idea of remaining open and attentive to the participation of other institutions, organised collectives and all citizens, exploring the limits of what may be considered archivable and expanding possibilities of access, use and distribution, as well as the broadening of the archives themselves.
