Documentation and conservation of media arts : The Daniel Langlois Foundation's Centre for Research and Documentation (CR+D)

Since 1999, the Daniel Langlois Foundation's CR+D developed a large collection of documents about art practices using technologies. This important collection has been used by many researchers and the CR+D published many of their research result on it's Web site. This web site also contain access to a large database which offers information not only about the CR+D collection, but also on artists, artworks, events and technologies.
This lecture will present an overview of the CR+D web site's various documentation resources, and will also present the results of an important research project on media arts documentation and conservation named DOCAM. Many researches were conducted during the five years of the project and all the results are now available online.
