In 1969, a year after the events of May ’68 in France, Joan Brossa poured the days of the calendar from his emptied inkpot. A simple yet irrevocable gesture that expresses visually what has lain behind our confinement diary. Day by day, the MACBA Collection has accompanied us with works of empty cities and battling collectives, irate gods and ideas for reading during our of confinement, cancelled experiences and some visionary ones; but always with the conviction that art can help us understand life.

We don't want to end this phase without a final surprise, but you'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out.
