Crimeways is the title of the third volume in the book series Ways concieved by the artist Rita McBride. Texts written anonymously, are put together in these novels challenging traditional notions of narrative genres, in this case the detective and crime novels.

The argument Crimeways takes place in New York City under siege by an underground band of aesthetic criminals who threaten to destroy a landmark in the name of art. Attempts are made to save the city from these artistic fascists and their bad taste.

This work was presented at the exhibition The Malady of Writing.
