Let’s go back to Lawrence Weiner’s essential messages

Today, more than ever, we need to resignify some words and recover the essence of messages. A great exponent of Conceptual art, since the 1960s Lawrence Weiner has redefined the artistic object with works that focus on the distillation of language. Like the great equation that for years occupied one of MACBA’s central walls, his sentences can now be read with a renewed semantics. Weiner established a relationship between human beings and objects and, therefore, the world. For its truth to reach us, we must read his mathematical formula in a loud and clear voice.
