Art workshops during the Mercè Festivities

Family workshops

Every year the Museum takes part in the Mercè festivities program with an open-air art workshop to which all the family are welcome. First, a monitor from the Museum guides the group on a tour around the MACBA Collection, pointing out special works in terms of the use of certain materials and methods. Later, in the Plaça dels Àngels, participants can gain practical experience of techniques using different supports and materials that are made available to them on a huge, self-service counter.
