Deu dits, 2000-2004

Ten Fingers, 2000-2004
The multiple possibilities for expression with the hands form the visual and experimental structure of Deu dits, a short film by Frederic Amat and Teresa Calafell. While Amat had this project in mind for some time, when he saw the work of this puppeteer he decided he had to make it with her. Two primitive dinosaurs make a hole in a cabbage, an index finger traces an enigmatic dance on glass, another drowns in a glass of water. With great expressive power, the film shows that the universe of hand gestures can evoke infinite states of mind.
