Tres bolígrafs, 1990

Three Ball-points, 1990
Drawing, 3 parts 127 x 98 cm c/u

"…The representation of time and its traces, the handling of the tracks it leaves on everything around us, the simulation of ageing, the inseparable relation between reality and appearance; the possibility of modelling time, understanding it physically, corporeally, and the rethinking of terms such as past and future, are some of the constants from which I have done certain works. We can easily recognise the signs of time past and intuit that those same signs are repeated unalterably. And so a single image can bear witness to the past and anticipate a foreseeable future. No symptom, no sign in the present which might make us doubt that that succession is unalterable".

Ignasi Aballí, 1992
