Younès Rahmoun was born in 1975 in Tetouan (Morocco), where he still lives and works. After studying Fine Arts in Tetouan, since 2001 his installations have been shown in many European and Moroccan cities. In his projects, he incorporates influences from his own cultural universe and origins, as well as his personal beliefs and experiences. Embodying a certain aesthetic and formal concern, his works emanate a search for universality and spirituality. Although his early work focused on installation and drawing, over time he has broadened his field of interest towards new technologies and multimedia language.
