Graduate in Fine Arts, specialised in Restoration, from the University of Barcelona. Trained in the conservation-restoration of mural paintings and preventive conservation at the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) and in the restoration of panel paintings at the Getty Conservation Institute. At the end of the eighties, she began working for artists, galleries and contemporary art collectors, and became part of the Spanish Working Group on Conservation and Restoration of Contemporary Art.
She has worked for several institutions and since 1995 she is the head of the Conservation-Restoration Department at MACBA. She has also participated in projects such as Inside Installations: Preservation and Presentation of Installation Art and PRACTICs of Contemporary Art: The Future, both promoted by the International Network for the Conservation of Contemporary Art (INCCA). Since 2020, she has been teaching classes on Preventive Conservation of Heritage Assets within the framework of the university master's degree in Cultural Management, and in the subject Management and Curating of Artistic Exhibitions and Heritage Assets of the Faculty of Humanities of the International University of Catalonia.
