Patricia Pérez (Cuba, 1978) graduated as a theatre director from the Instituto Superior de las Artes (ISA) in Havana, and in 2002 qualified as a director at EICTV. She has directed several short films and documentaries. The last one, “Piscina municipal”, earned a special commendation at the aluCine Latin Film + Media Arts Festival. She also edited “Otra isla” by Heidi Hassan, which won the prize for best documentary at the Havana Film Festival New York.
