Lluc Mayol (Barcelona, 1970) bases his projects on relations he establishes between publishing work, education and creative art, triggering collective processes that take shape in formats including artist's publications, fanzines and free radio stations. In a to-and-fro between public institutions and self-managed community spaces, he maintains a critical stance in both contexts. He has set up several independent cultural platforms, including Saladestar and La Fanzinoteca Ambulant, and has been part of collective projects such as Nau 21, Artdoules, L'Automàtica, Escuela Meme, Catxirulo Lab, La Figuera and Massa Salvatge. He currently lives and works in València.
