Ten years ago, a group of two hundred street vendors from Barcelona came together under the People's Union of Street Vendors to have their own voice and defend their rights. Two years later, they launched the social and solidarity clothing brand Top manta, with a silkscreen and sewing workshop, with the intention of improving the living conditions of the group, taking their colleagues out of the street and creating communication campaigns capable of denouncing injustices.

Since the beginning of the union, more than 200 colleagues have been able to leave the blanket, regularize their administrative situation and start a life with rights. Fifteen work directly in the sewing and screen printing workshop of the collective.
