Based in Los Santos de Maimona (Badajoz province), he works in art curating, on long-term projects concerning memory policy and the naturalisation of extractive processes and heteropatriarchal violences that shape the place where we live. Through writing, interventions in public spaces and audiovisual pieces, nearly always working together with other artists and a range of agents, he has worked on the colonial figure of the “desert”, the effects of the digital transition in outlying urban areas, the neoliberal privatisation of memory and the generation of sacrificial areas. Since 2019 he has run the MAL curating platform, through which he carries out research and creative programmes such as “Pantalla trémula” and “Salir del ritmo” through residencies, exhibitions and mediation processes.
