Ignacio Julià is a journalist and music critic. He started his career as a writer in the late 1970s with the magazine Star. He has collaborated with a variety of publications such as Vibraciones, Rock Espezial, Rockdelux, Cultura/s (La Vanguardia) and El País. He is also the co-founder of the magazine Ruta 66. In multimedia journalism, he co-directed and co-presented the programme El Soterrani on Catalunya Ràdio together with David Talleda and Xavier Escuder, as well as República 2230 and Pop-Lab on BTV, and he was a musical commentator on the cultural programme B-360. His numerous publications include Feed-back/The Velvet Underground: Legend, Truth, Estragos de una juventud sónica, La nostalgia ya no es lo que era, Lou Reed. Catálogo irracional, and Bruce Springsteen. Promesas rotas.
