Guillem Mont de Palol (Girona, 1978) is a stage creator, dancer, performer and teacher. His career is marked by constant exploration of the body, language and ways of relating to the audience. In 2002 he moved to Amsterdam to train at the School for New Dance Development (SNDO), graduating in 2006, where he met Jorge Dutor, with whom he has made up the duo Montdedutor since 2009. Together they have developed a language of their own that combines humour, metadiscourse, music and play, with pieces like ¿Y por qué John Cage? (2011) and Salir del armario (2020). He has worked with artists like Mette Ingvartsen, Xavier Le Roy, Sonia Gómez and Miguel Pereira. His artistic practice is linked to processes of personal and collective growth, reflected in his current interests in Thai massage and yoga, as well as his commitment to teaching as a space for research and transmission.
