Association of gay and bisexual men with HIV that has been working to provide a response to HIV and AIDS since 1994 for the LGTBI+ community with a rights-based approach.
The mission of Gais Positius is to provide the comprehensive support, empowerment and resources needed to improve the quality of life of gay men living with HIV. We strive to promote physical, mental and emotional health, as well as to foster social inclusion, equal rights and the eradication of all forms of discrimination.
Through specialised projects and services, we seek to provide a safe and non-discriminatory environment where our members can access precise information, receive quality medical care and develop skills that will enable them to face the challenges associated with HIV. We work closely with the community and other organisations to promote awareness, prevention and social normalisation, with the aim of achieving a more inclusive and stigma-free society for all HIV-positive gay men.
