Cuina de Barri is a pilot community cooking project in the Cabanyal neighbourhood. Everything we cook is organic, vegan and locally grown. A non-profit R&D project that aims to enrich the social fabric of the neighbourhood by caring for its residents, providing special attention to the elderly and the vulnerable, as well as women, who, on a historical and social level, have been forced to take care of all the cooking responsibilities at home. A resilient local economy project that brings together agricultural food production, processing and distribution in the geography of a neighbourhood. It aims to reduce the current price of food and its direct and indirect effects by drastically reducing energy consumption along the food production chain.
