Carolina Olivares (Valdivia, Chile, 1973) is an artistic producer, writer and actress. In 2008, she founded CO producciones, an independent video art and documentary cinema production company that also manages artistic and cultural projects, serving as its director since its inception. She has promoted and founded a variety of creative platforms including KBB, Anfitriona and La INFINITA. As a producer, she has worked on films, performances and exhibitions with multiple artists, including Iván Argote, Valérie Jouve, Itziar Barrios, Camille Llobet and Enrique Ramírez. She has collaborated with Jordi Colomer on a regular basis since 2007. Throughout her career, she has been in charge of artistic production on a variety of projects with institutions such as Jeu de Paume (Paris), the Bronx Museum of the Arts in New York, ARGOS, Mercosur Biennial (Brazil), MATUCANA (Chile) and the Biennale di Venezia, among others.
