Belén Rodríguez holds a Magister Arts degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where she studied with Professor Heimo Zobernig and a Fine Arts degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. Her development has been enhanced by various experiences in international artist residencies, such as BMUKK in Tokyo, GlogauAIR in Berlin, Academia de España in Rome, Hooper Projects in Los Angeles, Artista x Artista in Havana and Flora ars+natura in Bogota.

She received the Staatstipendium and STARTstipendium scholarships, both from the Austrian Ministry of Culture, the First Prize Ciutat de Palma Antoni Gelabert and the Premio Generaciones, among others.

She has had solo shows at Museo Patio Herreriano, Valladolid; Josh Lilley, London; Alarcón Criado, Seville, and Das Weisse Haus, Vienna, among others. Her work has been exhibited in institutions such as CA2M, Tabacalera, Matadero and La Casa Encendida, in Madrid; Can Felipa and Fabra i Coats, in Barcelona; CAAC, in Seville; the Biennale Internationale d'Art Contemporain d'Anglet, France; the Espacio23, in Miami, and the Glyptoteket in Copenhagen.

Her work forms part of the TBA21 collection, Pérez Museum, Fundación "la Caixa", Colección Adrastus, IVAM, CA2M, CAAC de Sevilla, Banco de España, Obra social Montemadrid, Abadía Retuerta and the Austrian and Spanish Ministries of Culture, among others.
