The Asociación de Mediadoras Culturales de Madrid (AMECUM) is a collective of mediators, educators and cultural agents united by the objective of professionalising and raising the profile of cultural mediation. AMECUM was founded in 2015 in response to the urgent need to raise the profile of the professional cultural mediation sector and to highlight its role as a social tool in the development of discerning citizens capable of empowering themselves through culture.
