Alexis Lima (Lima, Peru) is a self-taught, non-binary trans artist, performer, art director, producer and the founder of the Peruvian collective VICHOS and the audiovisual platform LIMA GORE TV. Through their practice, they seek to explore the fantastic imaginaries of Peruvian pre-Hispanic culture and to raise questions about the social conflicts of their context in order to highlight the urgent needs of the sex-gender dissident community in the city of Lima. Their work is based on transgression and social struggles through performance in public interventions and video.
