A self-taught photographer, storyteller and historical activist for LGTBIQ+ rights, HIV advocacy and disability rights in Honduras. She has participated in the founding of several queer organisations fighting for rights that have been historically denied. Her personal archive contains more than 900 images captured from the 1980s until 2000, documenting parties, affection, resistance and the everyday life of trans women and dissident communities in Tegucigalpa. This collection constitutes one of the founding nuclei of the Archivo Honduras Cuir and is the centrepiece of the exhibition Narrativas Cuir. Its embodied and militant knowledge enriches grassroots activism as well as academic debate from the Global South.
