Presentation and reflection around a screening of VALIE EXPORT’s performance films by Berta Sichel, expert in performance and moving-image art. Two fields at the intersection of which VALIE EXPORT’s films are located. The session intends to explore the gains and losses of performance when recorded interrogating the relationship between action and its (im)possible audiovisual capture.
