THE SIZE DOESN’T MATTER

This edition of La Mida is quite special, most probably as many other similar film Festivals that have been held since last March 2020. Since then, We have considered delaying it, postponing it, canceling it, convening it, or reinventing it. And maybe, just maybe, we ended up doing a kind of mix of all the options: a hybrid version, with a few face-to-face and some virtual days.

The set of selected films becomes a choice that shows the versatility and diversity of expressive possibilities offered by the short film. In this edition, we will also check the great adaptive power of this format, not in vain, you will be able to see some of the works made during this complicated 2020 that use the theme of the pandemic as an accelerating engine of creativity.
