Guided visits to Like a Dance of Starlings: MACBA Collection — Thirty Years and Infinite Ways of Being
By Avalancha
Every Saturday, enjoy guided visits to Like a Dance of Starlings: MACBA Collection — Thirty Years and Infinite Ways of Being.
The idea sets out from a close look at the ways artists have explored subjectivity. Through this approach, the visit becomes an exercise in rethinking the MACBA Collection and expanding the possible narratives around it.
The visit becomes an open, living collective conversation, centring on the experience with the works on display. Rather than a guided explanation, it is a shared space to feel, think about and discuss what the collection awakens in us.
Like a Dance of Starlings. MACBA Collection: Thirty Years and Infinite Ways of Being evokes a choral, changing movement: a porous organism able to spread its wings and turn subjectivity into a space for freedom. Like this, the museum becomes a place in which to imagine new ways of being and acting in the world.
The collection is seen as a murmur that grows over time, a constellation of diverse voices sounding from the past into the future to form an endless, plural network.
Activity led by Avalancha, an artistic and educational research collective made up of Loli Acebal, blanca arias, Renan Camilo, Marc Luguera and edu rubio.
