Until Liberation: A Collective Reading and Listening Session
By Learning Palestine
Open PEI
At this historical juncture – amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the censorship and repression of all things Palestinian – Learning Palestine invites us to gather not only in refusal but also in affirmation.
This collective reading and listening session celebrates Palestinian thought, the vitality of its cultural and political imagination and its inseparability from broader histories of struggle and solidarity. Here, reading and listening become a shared space of connection; listening becomes a way of widening solidarity; and circulation becomes a means of ensuring that knowledge rooted in liberation continues to forge a shared political language.
Through a live performance of fragments, voices, sounds and detours, we re-learn Palestine together – against what Ghassan Kanafani called “blind language” – and cultivate spaces that sustain forms of knowledge that work towards collective futures of liberation.
