The city displays a geography of weights, supports, forces, assemblages, suspensions, gaps, compositions and volumes that remind us of the coexistence and solidarity to be found in between materialities. At one and the same time, the city is built and under construction, decomposed and decomposing. It is a city in continuous movement, wet, muddy, sandy and trembling, that widens and contracts, dilates and breathes to stay on its feet. Or else it is left to shake and collapse or vanish, dislocate and mutate, rot and become corrupted and composted. A living and organic being that moves in relation to the weather, humidity, seismic activity, winds and tides... An urban ecosystem that constellates something like a physiology of the city.

This encounter aims to connect with the flows of this urban physiology in a session of collective breathing in which we can observe the materiality that surrounds us through our senses. Either as seismographic bodies, hygrometric bodies or thermometer bodies. We will take time to breathe together and share a space-time of listening and conversation around this physiological ecosystem in motion; a system of which we are part and, moreover, that contains and sustains us.
