Ja l’any 1972, Robert Llimós construïa una ficció visual d’aïllament del món. En la seva acció Funda, l’artista s’enfundava en una granota de lona que el cobria completament per protegir-lo, distanciant-lo a la vegada, de l’exterior, i es passejava així per la ciutat. Formava part d’una sèrie d’obres elaborades amb aquest material robust i alhora flexible que s’utilitza per fer teles per pintar. Si llavors la seva acció expressava l’autolimitació de la pintura, avui remet d’una manera molt directa a la nostra nova relació amb el treball i amb els altres, una experiència de distància social que evoca les pitjors distòpies.
