El seu treball se centra en la investigació i la reflexió sobre el concepte d'edició i les construccions de discurs. S'interessa per la manera en què la informació s'acumula, circula i s'organitza a través d'ideologies que ens donen el marc d'allò que és real. Ha estudiat a la Unam (Mèxic), l'Ensad (París) i la Rijksakademie (Amsterdam), i té un doctorat per la Uniarts (Hèlsinki). Ha fet exposicions individuals i col·lectives a documenta 15, Artium, Savvy Contemporary, MUAC, Kadist SF, Museu Tamayo, MAM París, KW Berlín, Biennal de Liverpool, Synagogue de Delme, Centro Botín, SMAK Gant, Malmö Konsthall, Biennal de Cuenca, MMOMA, Stedelijk Bureau, Vac Foundation, Fabra i Coats, MCAD Manila, Tabakalera, Centrocentro, Muzeum Sztuki, MUSAC, La Panacée, RedCat, Espacio Odeón, De Appel, TBA21-Augarten, Biennal de São Paulo, Malba, Deutsche Bank KunstHalle, La Capella, CCA Wattis, CGAC, Biennal Mercosur, Biennal de Taipei, Fundació "la Caixa", Royal College of Art i Biennal de Lió, en d'altres.
