MACBA Atrium. Free admission
Three poet-researchers will take over the MACBA Atrium and give substance to words from very different perspectives. Benet Rossell, poet and artist in equal measure, will present the poetic action Allons enfants de la movie! which he describes as a "true ode to minimalist and, it goes without saying, independent cinematography." Caroline Bergvall, a London-based writer and interdisciplinary artist of French and Norwegian origins, will show excerpts of her work, which takes language into the fields of sound art and experimentation. Meanwhile, Víctor Sunyol, accompanied by Pere Nores on saxophone, will present Quest, a text based on the essence of language (basically conjunctions, prepositions and adverbs) – understood and treated as physical matter or body – that explores the possibility of speaking.
This activity is part of the activities of Barcelona Poesia 2012 (28th Barcelona International Poetry Festival) www.bcn.cat/barcelonapoesia.
