Situacionistas. Arte, política, urbanismo

The Situationist International (1957–72) was a movement of artists and intellectuals founded by Guy Debord. Its main objectives included bringing down the class society which they saw as oppressive, and fighting so-called capitalist control, or the ideological system of Western civilization today. The group’s works and projects had a considerable influence on European culture and they remain relevant given their focus on merging culture and politics and their defense of public space as a place for cultural creation and political action. The catalogue includes texts by Libero Andreotti, Constant and others, as well as documents linked to the activities of the Situationist International.
